PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit pin the fitted state of which in a through hole can be confirmed, and to provide a fitted state confirmation method thereof.SOLUTION: A press-fit pin 1 being inserted from both sides of a through hole 30 in a printed circuit board and fitted in place has a terminal 11, a tip 12 that is the return of the terminal 11, and a cut 13 between the terminal 11 and the tip 12. The tip 12 deforms elastically by an external load so that the cut 13 becomes narrow. When the press-fit pins are fitted, they are inserted from both sides of the through hole 30 while facing the tips 12, 22, and the terminal 11 is pressed against the inner periphery of the through hole 30, by the restoring force at the tips 22 of press-fit pins 2 facing each other. |
