PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a resin-supported catalyst excellent in repeating characteristic and utilization efficiency.SOLUTION: A production method of a resin-supported catalyst has a hardening step for hardening a thermosetting resin having a phenolic hydroxyl group, and a supporting step for supporting fine particles having catalyst activity on the surface of a hardening body obtained in the hardening step. The fine particles are formed of a material comprising some one or more kinds of a metal, a metal oxide or a metal compound. The supporting step includes a reduction step for reducing the fine particles by the phenolic hydroxyl group.
