An apparatus and a method of controlling transfer of material supplied to a device are provided to improve the productivity of a molding apparatus by performing molding work using prepared materials although materials are not provided for a time. A method of controlling transfer of material supplied to a device comprises the steps of detecting if material exists in a first position using a first detection sensor(11), detecting if the material exists in a second position using a second detection sensor(12), and detecting if the material exists in a third position using a third detection sensor(13). The material is supplied to the third position by a robot(6). The material supplied to the third position is loaded on a conveyor(1) by a first cylinder(4). Detection signals of the first to third detection sensors are combined to allow the material to exist the first to third positions, so that driving of the robot, the first cylinder and the conveyor is determined. |
