The present invention relates to a regenerative oxyfuel combustion system having fuel oxidation properties using catalyst and a combustion method using the combustion system. More particularly, the present invention relates to a regenerative oxyfuel combustion system comprising: a combustion chamber having combustion nozzles at one and the other end having an oxygen spraying unit and a fuel spraying unit; and a heat storage chamber connected to each combustion nozzle, having a heat storage unit for preheating fuel having a partial oxidation catalyst inside and a heat storage unit for preheating oxygen, in which exhaust gas generated in the combustion chamber during a heat storage mode is inserted into the heat storage unit for preheating fuel and oxygen, in which oxygen is inserted into the heat storage unit for preheating oxygen during a providing mode to preheat oxygen and provide the same for the oxygen spraying unit of the combustion chamber and transmitted to the heat storage unit for preheating fuel to preheat fuel, in which partial oxidation of fuel is processed by a catalyst to provide the same for the fuel spraying unit of the combustion chamber. |
