The purpose of the present invention is to provide a capo for a guitar, wherein the capo allows a user to easily and conveniently use the same by fixing the same to a finger board with simple manipulation for rotating a tongs part to be closed after spreading the tongs part. In particular, another purpose of the present invention is to provide the capo for a guitar, wherein the capo allows the user to control the intensity of a tensile force applied to the tongs part so that the user uses the capo by easily controlling a force applied from the tongs part to strings and a fixing force for fixing the capo to the finger board. In addition, the other purpose of the present invention is to provide the capo for a guitar, wherein the capo allows a tensile force applied by the tongs part to be controlled by a fastening way so that the user uses the capo by controlling the capo into a desired condition with easy and quick rotational manipulation. According to the present invention for accomplishing the purposes, the capo for a guitar comprises: a main body installed to adhere to the rear side of the finger board; the tongs part fixed to be hinged at one end of the main body and installed to be able to rotate with facing the main body; and a position fixing unit longitudinally installed at the main body, elastically supported, and locking or unlocking the rotating position of the tongs part, wherein the tongs part has a tooth part on a virtual circular arc of which the center is a rotating central shaft, and the position fixing unit comprises: a stopper elastically supported by an elastic spring with adhering to the tooth part; and an elastic force controller controlling an elastic force applied to the stopper. |
