Device for monitoring a hydraulic medium

The device has a channel guiding a hydraulic medium i.e. oil, and a sensor membrane (16) arranged in the channel. The sensor membrane includes a passage (24) for circularly passing the hydraulic medium on the channel. The sensor membrane includes electrodes that are interconnected with different electric potentials, and limits the electrodes. Distance between the electrodes in the passage is about 0.3 mm and/or 1.5 mm. The passage is designed as a gap with curved or meander-like course. The electrodes include a comb-like structure with a set of electrode fingers (20, 22). An independent claim is also included for a hydraulic device of an agricultural vehicle.
