<p>Corrosion inhibiting compsn. for metals exposed to corrosive waters, is free from chromate and consists of acetodiphosphonic acid or salt thereof, e.g. ammonium salt, pref. in amt. of 5-75% esp. 10 - 60%, and zinc sulphate, pref. in amt. of 20 - 95% esp. 30 - 85%. Effective amts. of the compsn. in circulating water systems are 2-100, pref. 5-50 ppm. resp. 10 - 30 ppm.</p> |
