<p>The present invention relates to an actuator used for a vehicle steering system. The actuator comprises: an input sun gear (100) installed at an input shaft (X1) of a steering shaft and integrally rotated with the input shaft (X1) of the steering shaft; an output sun gear (200) installed at an output shaft (X2) of the steering shaft and integrally rotated with the output shaft (X2) of the steering shaft; an input planet gear (300) engaged with the input sun gear (100) by being circumscribed, revolving around the input sun gear (100), and installed at a planet gear shaft (250); and an output planet gear (400) engaged with the output sun gear (200) by being circumscribed, revolving around the output sun gear (200), and installed at the planet gear shaft (250) in a location separated from the input planet gear (300) with a predetermined distance. The planet gear shaft (250) in which the input planet gear (300) and the output planet gear (400) are installed is supported by a bearing (B) only at one point of the central part. According to the actuator used for a vehicle steering system, the alignment error of the planet gear shaft can be prevented. The tolerance of the gear can be compensated. The vibration and noise can be minimized. The distribution of power can be equal as the structure is to be simple and symmetrical. The weight can be lightened. The formability and assembly efficiency can be improved.</p> |
