PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic appliance of a mouthpiece type, capable of solving or reducing reversed occlusion even in a permanent dentition period.SOLUTION: An orthodontic appliance is composed of a base 1 having a U-shape in a plane view, and put between tooth rows 61 and 71 of the upper jaw 6 and the lower jaw 7, an upper jaw side outer peripheral wall 2 projecting upward from the outer peripheral edge of the base 1 and contacting the upper lip 62 from the inside, a lower jaw side outer peripheral wall 3 projecting downward from the outer peripheral edge of the base 1, contacting the lower lip 72 from the inside, and contacting the front tooth part 711 of the lower jaw 7 from the outside, and an upper jaw side inner peripheral wall 4 projecting upward from the inner peripheral edge of the base 1 and contacting the front tooth part 611 of the upper jaw 6 from the inside. The distance between the inner peripheral surface of the upper jaw side outer peripheral wall 2 and the outer peripheral surface of the upper jaw side inner peripheral wall 4 is larger than the thickness of the tooth row 61 of the upper jaw 6. |
