PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting and holding device capable of stably hoisting a rope of an elevator, and having excellent workability.SOLUTION: An elevator hoisting and holding device 1 is used for hoisting and holding a rope of an elevator. The hoisting and holding device 1 includes: a pair of foundation members 10 provided on a supporting base so as to move forward/backward to/from each other, and having tilting surfaces 11 tilting upward toward the outside in a horizontal direction; rope holding members 20 slidably disposed on the tilting surfaces 11 of the foundation members 10, and clipping the rope; and a forward/backward moving mechanism 30 for sliding the pair of the foundation members 10 so as to move forward/backward. Engaging portions 12 are provided on the tilting surfaces 11 of the foundation members 10, and locking portion 22 engaged with the corresponding engaging portions 12 of the tilting surfaces 11 of the foundation members 10 are provided on a lower part of the rope holding members 20. |
