PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen confidentiality of data stored in a portable terminal.SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises: a terminal information storage unit which stores terminal information for identifying the portable terminal; a subscriber information acquisition unit which acquires subscriber information of the portable terminal; a user identification information acquisition unit which acquires user identification information for identifying a user of the portable terminal; an authentication parameter generation unit which generates authentication parameters including at least the terminal information, the subscriber information and the user identification information; and a terminal communication unit which transmits the authentication parameters to an authentication server and also receives an authentication result from the authentication server. According to the authentication result, propriety of use of data acquired by the portable terminal is determined.
