The compositions contain an organophosphorous deriv. (I): and 0.1-10% based on the total wt. of the compsn. of a styrene of formula (II):- where R=1-4C organic radical, Z=3 or S, X and X'=halogen, R'=H, CHo,C2H5 or halogen, R" and R"'= phenyl or naphthyl, which may be subst. by 1 or 2 of halogen alkyl (1-5C), OCh3, OC2H5, NO2cN or OH gp; R""=1-5 opt. substituents selected from halogens, alkyl (1-5C) OH, OCH3, OC2H5, NO2, or CN or is a bivalent group which forms, with the benzene ring, a naphthalene ring.
