<p>The aim of the invention is to provide a battery that is simple and inexpensive to produce. The battery according to the invention comprises a battery cell (22) as a first component and a retaining element (14) as a second component. The battery cell (22) is retained in a housing of the battery by means of the retaining element. One of the two components, either the battery cell (22) or the retaining element (14), has a recess (42) in which an engagement element of the other component (14) engages so that a movement of the battery cell relative to the retaining element is blocked in at least one direction (40). The engagement element ensures a form-fit connection between the battery cell (22) and the retaining element (14).</p> |
