PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend life of a welding tip by a relatively simple method.SOLUTION: A surface strengthened layer 2 is formed on at least an inner peripheral surface of the welding tip 1 (11, 12) that is formed of any material of copper, a copper alloy, or a ceramic dispersion copper, by jetting a metal powder body shot that has the same hardness as the material of the welding tip 1 (11, 12) or more and an average particle diameter of 40-150 μm to the inner peripheral surface at a jet velocity of 100 m/sec or more. A tin oxide semiconductor coating 3 is then further formed on the surface strengthened layer 2 by jetting a tin powder body having an average particle diameter of 10-100 μm, on which a tin oxide coating is formed, at a jet velocity of 200 m/sec or more. |
