PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method, which enable differential settlement to be easily corrected from the outside of a building.SOLUTION: A device is used to correct settlement of a house in which a ground sill 2 being a horizontal material is mounted on a concrete foundation 1. The device includes a pressure body 3 that is fixed on the side of the foundation 1 and protruded sideward, a push-up body 4 that is fixed on the side of the ground sill 2 and protruded sideward, and a jack 6 with a claw, which has the claw inserted between the pressure body 3 and the push-up body 4. |
