PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold laundry at a position as high as possible by increasing the tension of a clothesline after engaging an engaging body with a receiver.SOLUTION: A clothes drying device of the present invention includes: a casing 3 from which a clothesline 4 for hanging laundry thereon can be drawn out, and in which the clothesline 4 is stored while being urged in a winding direction; a lock member 12 capable of restricting the movement of the clothesline 4 in the drawing-out direction and capable of releasing the restriction; a receiver 5 capable of being detachably engaged with an engaging body 6 fixed to the end part of the clothesline 4; and a tension member 7 which is interposed between the receiver 5 and the engaging body 6 so as to tension the clothesline 4 after being restricted in movement by the lock member 12. |
