PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion emission device where influences on an ion generator is reduced to a low level even when a liquid intrudes from an air outlet into a fan casing.SOLUTION: An ion emission device 3A includes: a sirocco fan 30; an ion generator 32; and an ion generator casing 31. The sirocco fan 30 includes: a fan rotor 301; and a scroll casing 302. Air getting out from the fan rotor 301 passes through an air passage FP2 formed in the scroll casing 302 to be blown upward through an air outlet 304. The ion generator 32 is disposed in an ion generator housing space S1 to generate ions. The ion generator housing space S1 is located at the exterior of the air passage FP2 and communicates with the air passage FP2 through a communication space S2. The ion generator casing 31 encloses the ion generator housing space S1. |
