The device (500) is provided with two workpieces (100,200) such as bus bars and outlet of a busbar system. The bus bars and outlet of the busbar system are respectively provided with shock edges. The shock edge of the outlet workpiece is formed corresponding to the shock edge of the bus bars. The shock edges of the bus bars and outlet are formed in an angle of incidence of 5[deg] , before connecting the bus bars and outlet. The shock edge of the bus bars is manufactured in relation to the shock edge of the outlet. The angle of incidence for connecting the two shock edges is reduced. An independent claim is included for method for electrically and mechanically connecting two flatly trained workpieces.
