PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink capable of leading sufficient air into between radiating fins without sacrificing a radiating area even if an air intake side is disposed so as to face a wall surface obstructing a flow of air, saving a cost, and being miniaturized. SOLUTION: The heat sink is composed of a radiating fin portion in which plural radiating fins 4 made from a thin plate member with a U-shaped cross-section integrally formed with an upper surface portion 5, a perpendicular surface portion 7, and a bottom surface portion 6 are disposed in parallel at predetermined intervals; and a base plate 3 to which a heating component is thermally connected on one surface, and the bottom surface portions of the radiating fins are thermally connected on the other surface. On at least a part of the perpendicular surface portion of the heat radiating fin, an opening portion 8 formed by mechanical processing is provided. The plural opening portions are formed along a vertical direction of the perpendicular surface portions at predetermined intervals. At least either one of upper end portions or lower end portions of the opening portions are equipped with horizontal surface portions 9, 10 which are integrally formed by bending a part of the perpendicular portions to be in parallel with the upper surface portions.
