PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment with a reset function with which convenience to an operator is improved by preventing a processing mode from being switched against the will of the operator. SOLUTION: When the main power source of an electronic notebook pager 1 is turned on and a paging mode at the main body of the electronic notebook pager 1 is turned on in reset processing by a key operation, a control part 16 stores ON (1) information in the paging mode ON/OFF information storage area of an ID-ROM 14 and when the paging mode is turned off, on the other hand, the control part 16 stores OFF (0) information in the paging mode ON/ OFF information storage area. Then, when the reset of the control part 16 is detected, corresponding to the ON(1)/OFF(10) information stored in the paging mode ON/OFF information storage area of the ID-ROM 14, the control part 16 turns on/off the paging mode at the main body of the electronic notebook pager 1. |
