PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce friction sound at the time when a water tub and a contact part of a buffer material come into contact.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: a water tub 2 which stores washing water; a washing/dewatering tub 3 provided rotatably in the water tub 2; a motor 5 which rotationally drives the washing/dewatering tub 3; a washing machine housing 1 which elastically supports the water tub 2 swingably by a vibration-proof damper; and a buffer material 12 provided in the washing machine housing 1 and which mitigates an impact when the water tub 2 collides with the washing machine housing 1. The buffer material 12 includes: an elastic part 14 which mitigates the impact; a contact part 13 which comes into contact with the water tub 2; and an adhesion part 15 which fixes one side face of the elastic part 14 to the inner part of the washing machine housing 1. As it is configured in such a manner that the water tub 2 does not come into direct contact with the elastic part 14 at the time of impact, friction sound can be prevented or reduced. |
