The machine has a motor (1) to drive an eccentric cam element (2) into rotating movement of a certain rotation direction. The eccentric cam element is coupled with propelled mechanical component (3) whose motion along traveling direction is periodically changed. The propelled mechanical component is coupled with a linear motor (5A). A sense element (8) is provided to detect position of propelled mechanical component. An independent claim is included for a method for enhancing precision of non-linear movement of propelled mechanical component.
