<p>A container, in particular a container for bakery produce, comprises a base or tray 1 and a lid 2. The tray and lid are retained together by protrusions 12 on the lid engaging with apertures 14 and tabs 16 on the tray 1. Equal numbers of apertures, tabs and protrusions may be provided, or the number of apertures and protrusions may exceed the number of tabs. The tray is preferably made from paperboard and may be formed from a folded blank (20, figure 3), and the lid is preferably made from a plastics material and may be vacuum formed.</p> |
