The invention relates to instruments for electric heating by ohmic resistance; it allows to obtain by temperature variation the forming of parts, transformations or reactions, under a permanent visual control by means of the sleeves. It comprises a transparent sleeve (1), an ajustable collar (2), which is pivotable on a rod (3); a set-nut fixing the position. The rod (3) rotates on a base (5), lockable by a lock-nut (10). The spiral-shaped resistance (6) is resilient and connected to two flexible connections (7) which are themselves connected to two terminals (9). Among interesting applications it may be mentioned the physicochemical experimentations in school, the low voltage (maximum of 24 volts) being a security, the forming of plastic materials, or as an enamel oven.
