The present invention relates to an insert jointed to a tibia insert member in an artificial knee joint. More specifically, the insert is jointed to an upper side of the tibia insert member to chamfer both edges of a lower surface of the insert positioned between a femur insert member and the tibia insert member, so that the insert is easily jointed to the tibia insert member in a joint direction. Particularly, while a chamfered surface, which is formed by chamfering the both edges of the lower surface of the insert, is formed before or behind the most protruded point from the both edges of the lower surface of the insert, the chamfered surface is formed over 40 degrees at the front to 15 degrees at the rear based on the round center point of a lateral surface of the insert, which is formed to be rounded. Here, the height of the chamfered surface is 0.5-3 mm from the lower surface of the insert. Therefore, the insert for an artificial knee joint according to the present invention can maximize an effect when the insert is naturally inclined on the tibia insert member to be inserted into and jointed to the tibia insert member. |
