<p>The system has a rack gear (3) slidably inserted into a main steering housing (2) along longitudinal direction. An input shaft (6) of a pinion strand (5) is connected with a steering column. A guidance pinion (4) is engaged with the gear and a torsion bar, which connects the input shaft with the guidance pinion. Rotation guidance units provided for the input shaft and the guidance pinion are inserted in an auxiliary housing (10) and removably joined with the steering housing. The auxiliary housing receives the pinion strand. The guidance units are formed by ball and/or needle bearings.</p> |
