PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy storage device capable of efficiently storing energy, a server, and their operation methods.SOLUTION: An energy storage device of the present invention includes: at least one battery pack: a network interface unit that exchanges data with a server; a connection unit that receives AC power from an internal power network, or outputs the AC power to the internal power network; and a power conversion unit. When receiving information on power to be stored from the server, the power conversion unit receives the AC power from the internal power network and converts it into a DC power, on the basis of the information on the power to be stored; or when receiving information on power to be output to the internal power network from the server, the power conversion unit converts DC power stored in the battery pack into AC power on the basis of the information on the output power. Thus, energy can be efficiently stored. |
