PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking system and a cabinet capable of preventing a code from being peeped while suppressing the increase of costs due to the complication of the device configuration of a code lock.SOLUTION: The locking system comprises: a lock mechanism section 20 having a locking member 22 locked to an opening peripheral edge installed with a door, and configured to be displaced between a locking position where the displacement of the door to an opening and closing direction is regulated and a locking release position where the locking is released, and configured to be displaced from the locking position to the locking release position while being interlocked with an operation piece section 13 when the operation piece section 13 is displaced from the locking position to the unlocking position. The lock mechanism section 20 includes restoration means for restoring the locking member 22 located at the locking release position when the door is opened from the locking release position to the locking position when the door is closed.
