摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a marine boiler which presents satisfactory effects in energy saving by reducing fuel consumption of a combustion boiler.SOLUTION: In a composite boiler 7, a combustion boiler 5 and a main machine exhaust heat recovery boiler 6 are combined. In the combustion boiler 5, an upper pipe header 1 and a lower pipe header 2 are connected by a number of water pipe groups 4 while internally forming a combustion chamber 3 therein. The main machine exhaust heat recovery boiler 6 performs heat recovery by causing main machine exhaust gas to flow on outer surfaces of water pipes. In the composite boiler 7, an auxiliary machine exhaust heat recovery boiler 8 which recovers heat of exhaust gas from an auxiliary machine, is connected so as to communicate with boiler water of the composite boiler 7, and steam generated from the auxiliary machine exhaust heat recovery boiler 8 is supplied through the upper pipe header 1 of the composite boiler 7 to a device that uses steam. Thus, while effectively utilizing exhaust heat of the auxiliary machine, fuel consumption in the combustion boiler can be reduced.
