The present invention relates to a method for controlling the temperature of the drum water for a boiler using remaining steam which includes a step that a control unit receives an input of the temperature of the drum water contained inside a lower drum from a temperature sensor when the boiler is in a standstill; and a step that the control unit controls an auxiliary steam valve to supply the steam flowing through a main steam pipe to a lower drum of the boiler through an auxiliary steam pipe when the temperature of the drum water is lower than a reference temperature. According to the present invention, the temperature of the drum water contained in the lower drum of the boiler in a standstill can be increased by heating with the remaining steam so that the present invention can supply steam by rapidly driving a boiler even though the pressure of the steam in a utility stand is unexpectedly decreased by problems of facilities in a sintering factory, a steel mill, and a power plant.
