PURPOSE: An input apparatus and a method for controlling the same are provided to conveniently apply a setting of each user for the input apparatus to electronic devices by running or installing data and programs stored in a memory unit included in a mouse hub in the electronic devices. CONSTITUTION: A mouse device (200) is provided as an input unit to a user. A mouse hub (300) is connected to the mouse device to communicate with the mouse device and an external device, and processes an input signal generated in the mouse device. The mouse hub includes a memory unit storing data, and a control unit processing the input signal and managing the data stored in the memory unit. An output unit provides an acoustic vibration feedback, and an illuminance sensor senses light. If the light sensed by the illuminance sensor is lower than a reference value, the control unit stops an operation control of the mouse device. |
