PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for suppressing abrasion of a support member which supports a rack shaft.SOLUTION: A steering device includes a handle-side pinion shaft having a pinion formed at a tip part, an assist-side pinion shaft, a rack shaft 24 which has a plurality of teeth 221 formed on a surface of a rod-like shaft part 210, and is provided with a rack 220 engaging pinions of the handle-side pinion shaft and assist-side pinion shaft, a gear housing which covers the rack 220 of the rack shaft 24, and a plurality of support members 26 which are arranged in the gear housing along the axis of the rack shaft 24, and support the rack shaft 24, and both end parts in the direction of a flank line of a tooth 221 of the rack shaft 24 are each formed curvedly from the region of the shaft part 210 to a tip of the tooth 221. |
