The device has a surface e.g. surface of glass plate (10) or plastic plate, sectionally covered by a strip-like adhesive film (20) i.e. colored film. The glass plate is used as a bottom storage shelf in a cooled interior of the device. The adhesive film is extended around a front side edge region of the plate. The adhesive film is designed transparent, and contains patterns and elevated structures. An outer side of a closure element i.e. door, side walls and/or an outer side of a top wall are provided with the adhesive film. The adhesive film has a visual impression of metal, timber or stone.
