PURPOSE: An IPTV(Internet Protocol TeleVision) channel broadcast trick mode service control method and system thereof is provided to offer an IPTV channel broadcast trick mode service by recording a live program in a media server in real time. CONSTITUTION: An IPTV terminal requests a trick mode start signal to a call control server(S502). A media server transmits a request signal for a trick mode request(S504). When a user pushes a button, the IPTV terminal transmits a session setup request to a call control server(S506, S507). The media server provides a session setup response to the call control server(S509). The call control server provides the session setup response to the IP terminal(S511). The media server provides the requested content to the IPTV terminal(S514). |
