<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smaller and lighter device for converting rotating motion into linear motion while converting small toque into great tensile force without generating backlash and noises. <P>SOLUTION: At least two lines/strips are each fixed at one end to the axial center of the end of a rotating motion output shaft and fixed at the other end to a portion of a moving body which moves along the direction of the rotating motion output shaft, so as to be symmetrical in relation to the center of the rotating motion output shaft and remote from the center of the rotating motion output shaft in the radial direction. With the rotation of the rotating motion output shaft, torsion is produced in the plurality of lines/strips to convert the rotating motion of the rotating motion output shaft into the displacement of the moving body which moves along the direction of the rotating motion output shaft and to convert the displacement of the moving body into the rotating motion of the rotating motion output shaft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
