A boiler is disclosed. The disclosed boiler comprises a fire box member for combusting the supplied fuel; an upper case which has the fire box member arranged therein and receives water in the internal space thereof; and a lower case which is arranged in the lower part of the upper case while being divided from the upper case and has the ashpan space that ash formed by the combustion of the fuel in the fire box member falls and is piled up, wherein the lower case has a cooling waterway for flowing water inside of the upper case so that the water inside of the upper case water-cools the lower case while being flown to the lower case through the cooling waterway. According to the disclosed boiler, the cooling waterway is formed inside of the lower case, thereby water-cooling the inside of the lower case and cooling the lower case as sufficiently as required. |
