Disclosed are a method and system for processing recommended target software, comprising: a cluster analysis module performs a cluster analysis for a user on the basis of software use information submitted by the user, determines a software list corresponding to various user clusters, and sorts the software in the software list according to usage of the software; a recommendation module determines the user cluster most relevant to a specific user on the basis of the software use information of the specific user; the top N-number of software in the software list corresponding to the user cluster are selected and recommended to the specific user, where the N-number is a predetermined value. Utilization of the present invention increases the relevance between the target software recommended and the specific user, and increases the accuracy of the recommendation.
