PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration element that has excellent frequency temperature characteristics, and wide frequency variable width.SOLUTION: A vibration element includes: a vibration piece that includes a vibration part, and excitation electrodes provided on both main surfaces of the vibration part; an intermediate substrate that supports the vibration piece so as to provide a gap between the excitation electrodes of the vibration piece and the intermediate substrate; and a spiral electrode pattern that is provided on at least one of the main surfaces of the intermediate substrate. The electrode pattern is electrically connected the excitation electrodes.
