PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of restraining the generation of a stress concentration on an interlocking plate at a portion of a positioning structure between the interlocking plate and a post.SOLUTION: A spherical post 64 of one end of a support 61 is installed on an interlocking plate 65. A projected section 91 is arranged on an installing position of the spherical post 64 of the interlocking plate 65. A recessed section 92 inserted with the projected section 91 is arranged on the spherical post 64. The interlocking plate 65 and the spherical post 64 are positioned by inserting the projected section 91 into the recessed section 92 of the spherical post 64. Thus, a conventional recessed section can be removed from the interlocking plate 65, and the generation of a stress concentration on the interlocking plate 65 can be restrained at an installing location of the spherical post 64. |
