PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine and a control method for the same adopting a premixture combustion system, the internal combustion engine and the control method for the same capable of suppressing combustion noise of the internal combustion engine and suppressing an increase in manufacturing cost and a degradation in fuel consumption of the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 includes a fuel injection nozzle 3 for injecting fuel into a combustion chamber 2. The internal combustion engine 1 includes a temperature regulating mechanism 4 for generating high-temperature side fuel fand low-temperature side fuel fhaving a temperature difference therebetween by heating or cooling at least a part of fuel.
