PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the accuracy improvement of machine translation based on a syntax by appropriately using syntactic information.SOLUTION: A first language analysis part 24 performs language analysis processing constituted of morphemic analysis to a character string in first language. A second language analysis part 25 performs language analysis processing constituted of morphemic analysis, syntax analysis and processing of adding an identifier showing the position of a subject and a relation between the subject and a qualifier in a partial syntax structure to be obtained from the result of syntax analysis processing to the result of the syntax analysis processing. A statistical translation model learning part 26 learns a statistical translation model on the basis of the result of language analysis processing including the result of language analysis processing by the first language analysis part 24 and the result of the syntax analysis processing by the second language analysis part 25.
