PURPOSE: A photo thermal conversion layer and a thermal transfer film using the same are provided to increase optical density and thermion efficiencies of the photo thermal conversion layer. CONSTITUTION: A photo thermal conversion layer comprises a photo thermal conversion layer which includes the near-infrared absorption dye and a binder. The near-infrared absorption dye absorbs light in the domain of 700-1200 nano meters. The near-infrared absorption dye comprises one of more which are selected from diimmonium type dye, metal - complex dye, naphthalocyanine type dye, phthalocyanine system paint, polymethine based dye and anthraquinone dye. 0.1-10 wt% of the near-infrared absorption dye is included in the photo thermal conversion layer based on solid powder. 90-99 wt% of the binder is included in the photo thermal conversion layer based on the solid powder. The photo thermal conversion layer additionally includes ionic liquid. |
