A shuttlecock designed for use outdoors comprising a domed head 100, a shaft 101 extending from the head 100, radial spokes 111 extending from an end of the shaft 101 and a skirt 102 attached to the spokes 111 wherein the shaft 101 acts to space the skirt 102 from the head 100. The spokes 111 may be curved, have a twist or convex and concave areas. Various parts of the shuttlecock may be detachably connected or integrally formed. The skirt 102 may include webbing and be concave. Thermoplastics such as Nylon may be used in its construction and it may be provided in a kit with a variety of different shaped or sized skirts. |
