PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of easily estimating a stationary height of a trolley wire based on a physical quantity measured by an inspection vehicle.SOLUTION: The estimating method of a trolley wire includes steps of: (A) measuring the dynamic height hd (a pantograph dynamic height) of a contact strip top face of a pantograph at a vehicle traveling time; (B) measuring a contact force Fc of the pantograph and the trolley wire at the vehicle traveling time; (C) estimating a dimension (a dynamic push-up quantity) by which the trolley wire is pushed up by the pantograph as Fc/k, after acquiring an equivalent spring constant kof the trolley wire with a vehicle traveling speed considered; and (D) estimating a stationary height Hs which is a height from the railway of a slide face of the trolley wire in a state that the pantograph is not pushed up as Hs=Ht+hd-Fc/kfrom a height Ht excluding the pantograph of the vehicle, and the various values. |
