PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part structure of an automobile capable of preventing mud water or the like wound up by a rear tire from leaking out from a gap at a rear bumper upper edge with a simple structure which does not require an increase in cost and weight.SOLUTION: A rear part structure 100 of an automobile includes a fundamental surface 106 extended in a vehicle width direction on a vehicle rear surface, a rear bumper 104 having two lateral surfaces 108, 110 continuing from the fundamental surface 106 to vehicle lateral surfaces, a housing panel 116 which is located on the rear side of a rear tire 112 and faces the back side of the fundamental surface 106 of the rear bumper 104 and a cantilever cover 118 which is attached to the lower end of the housing panel 116 and is extended to the lower side, wherein the cover 118 has a part inclined to the vehicle rear side and, by the part, the rear tire 112 is shielded from the upper end of the rear bumper 104. |
