PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device fabricated by a technology capable of preventing disconnection in an EL film and a cathode, thereby suppressing local thinning of the EL film at a part sandwiched between the cathode and an anode, thus preventing a local electric field concentration in the EL film.SOLUTION: In a light-emitting device, an EL element includes: an insulating film 101 formed on an anode 100; and an EL film 102 and a cathode 103 formed on the insulating film 101. A lower end part and an upper end part of the insulating film 101 are formed in a curved-surface shape. A taper angle at a central part of the insulating film 101 is 35° or more and 70° or less. |
