[Class 97 (i).] Each eyepiece of a pair of goggles consists of two superposed glasses each having one half coloured or darkened and the other half clear. The two glasses are relatively rotatable so that the two coloured parts may be brought into visual alignment to give a field of view which is half obscured and half clear, or the said two parts may be placed side by side to give a uniformly obscured field. The glasses a, bare fitted in mountings c, d which can rotate in the frame e, the mounting c being provided with a rim f by which it can be turned relatively to the mounting d. By turning the two mountings together any desired part of the field of view can be obscured.
