PURPOSE: A system for moving icons and a method thereof providing a simple user interface environment are provided to offer a tool moving icons into other cards or a folder of the other cards, thereby moving the icons with a minimum control task. CONSTITUTION: A UI(User Interface) screen consists of cards in which icons are aligned and displayed. A box executor(210) exposes a temporary box on the cards in controlling moving of the icons. An icon moving part(220) moves selected icons by a user to the temporary box, and moves the icons simultaneously in controlling moving of the temporary box.
