SOLENOID VALVE WITH MANUAL OVERRIDE AND SEALING ADAPTER

A solenoid valve comprises solenoid means for moving a valve poppet, as well as a manual override. An adapter is provided between the manual override and the valve poppet. The adapter comprises an adapter housing part delimiting an adapter cylinder part within which an intermediate operator organ is moveable. The adapter housing part connects sealing to a main valve housing. The override housing part is connected by means of a removable connection to the adapter housing part. A manually operable operator organ of the override, the intermediate operator organ and the valve poppet are associated to each other such that a manual operation of the override causes the intermediate operator organ to move the valve poppet independent of the solenoid means. Sealing means are provided between the intermediate operator organ and the adapter cylinder part for preventing medium to flow out of the valve via the adapter.
