PEDICLE SCREW LOCKING SYSTEM

A pedicle screw locking system having a low profile comprises: one or a plurality of multi-shaft pedicle screws; a connection assembly including one or a plurality of inwardly offset clamps including a cylindrical band which is assembled with a connection rod that has frictional sliding stability; and an annular flange. Each of the inwardly offset clamps is assembled with the multi-shaft pedicle screw, and forms an automatic locking hoop having an acute angle so as to create temporary stability with respect to the application of a small compression force. Each of the clamps is further fixed on the pedicle screw using a fixing nut which is coupled to the pedicle screw, and the position of the connection rod is further firmly fixed on the clamp by the elastic deformation of the clamp flange and the cylindrical band. The clamp flange comes into a close contact state to support a load in the completely fixed position, such that the multi-shaft orientation and adequate assembly strength for the final assembly can be obtained.
